How does UV light treatment work ?
UV radiation provides rapid and efficient inactivation of microorganisms through a physical process. When bacteria, viruses, and protozoa are exposed to the germicidal wavelengths of UV light, they become unable to reproduce and infect. UV light has been shown to be effective against microorganisms.
What are the applications of UV lamps for water disinfection?
Ultraviolet light lamps are very effective for use in water treatment, both at municipal, industrial and commercial level. The applications can be very varied depending on the wavelength of the UV light used. The design of the UV water lamp and its operation are important aspects to consider when choosing UV equipment and the application or industry in which it is required to use it.
What are the benefits of using UV lamps for UV water treatment in my processes?
UV lamps are one of the most critical components that affect the performance of your UV system. The use of genuine Aquafine and TrojanUV lamps, guarantee the correct performance and reliability of your equipment and your project.
Assurance of the treatment and its lifetime performance guarantees are some of the advantages offered by using UV lamps for water. Operate your UV system as intended and designed and maintain the specified UV dose, keeping the following benefits in mind:

Need the Aquafine Product Retirement Bulletin?
Which replacement Aquafine UV system is right for you? It depends on your current configuration and the features you need and value most. Aquafine offers OptiVenn® and Avant® systems which incorporate technological advancements that help to reduce the total cost of ownership, lower power consumption, and simplify operation and maintenance.
Why would you replace an existing unit?
We believe that there are significant advantages to our newer technology.
Up to 61% savings on annual operating and maintenance cost vs. legacy systems
Installation flexibility for newer Aquafine Series allows for new floor layouts
Full availability of parts and service for new Aquafine Series. Some of the components for the CSL and RBE product line are becoming harder to source due to outdated technology and are costly for suppliers to support given low volumes
